Scott Seekins — painter

I respect anyone who develops an original style and remains true to it day and night. I think of my image as part of my art, walking, living installation piece.

My painting involves self porttraits, that of placing myself visually into an historical event or incorporating my visual impression into the work on another artist. I have also created over 1,000 Madonnas, inspired by a vision of Mary, in which she revealed that if I would paint her in an endearing way, I would live forever.

The post 911 direction incorporates various painting styles with assorted symbols, eagles and shields on a floating landscape. Pointalist and impressionst techniques are often employed.
