24/7 — my objective in these works is to explore and journal my thoughts and express the resulting images within the confines of a 24-inch length and a 7-inch width. Hence “24/7”. i believe we all digest information through a personal filtering system. perhaps the result is similar to old message boards or neglected outdoor billboards that become these weathered montages of images and text melting together to create this framed choas. instinctively, my mind works to decipher which images came first. i mimicked that organic process of creation and disintegration and found it refreshing and ironic. journaling my story in each individual frame, i propose to give the viewer a 24/7 chrysalis through which to view my interpretation. you, the viewer, are in charge of this closure or evolving transformation. contact >
