i’m a magazine art director by day, but my first love is photography. i attempt to photograph things the way i see them, and try to present subjects as naturally as possible, without artificial lighting or significant digital enhancement. the majority of my subject matter is found spontaneously, so I carry my camera almost all the time. i often create abstract images, where the “real” subject matter is not necessarily obvious at first glance. I invite viewers to interpret what they see for themselves. i enjoy documenting the interesting people and places I encounter in my everyday life. by photographing my subjects how and where I find them, i satisfy my desire to share my specific viewpoint with others. contact >
